So in Second Life I am always in search of my idea of perfection. I want the best hair the best skin and a shape that is my idea of just “right”

I don’t want to be to skinny and I don’t want to be too big, I want curves in all the right places and I want to look as realistic as I can by twisting those pixels.  With this quest of mine I have bought shapes from dozens of places, and modified them and even gone so far as having them customized by “professional” sculptors. With each tweak i’ve been more and more happy with my avi but I will tell you at Carissa’s I fell in love with myself , or well even more in love with my avi if that is at all possible. I tried on a ton of demo’s and each one of them was more amazing then the next. I ended up buying several because honestly they were so cute and for the price of 400L each and each shape being copy/mod you really can’t go wrong.

So with my new intensity and not being able to make up my mind I got touch with  the creator and I am seriously impressed with her. Her creativity and originality have astounded me to no end.

And as you know I love getting to know people and I always want to know not only about what they make but why and who they are as designers.

Silhouette has been open for business since December 20, 2008 and currently has locations at Crush Row, Creve Couer, Calliefornia, and Fusion Crossing. Every shape is available at all her locations but make sure you check out her main store newly remodeled and moved at Crush Row, and her flagship store at Fusion Crossing to look at her other items as well, including  her new line of eyes ( which are also fantastic, I’ve been wearing them since I got them)

Carissa started making shapes as a way to sooth out stress and make something beautiful. She says she is inspired by skins and they lead her into finding the perfect shape for that particular skin.

Silhouette does offer gift cards, so that you can be generous to your friends and loved ones ( nothing like giving the gift of beauty)

New Hair From Keelee Designs

Keelee Designs is this great hair store I stumbled on. I was so impressed I can’t even tell you how many people I tp’d in right away or sent a landmark to. I also won’t divulge the amount of linden I dropped, because it left my pixel pocket hurting for sure!

Keelee Designs has been opened under the current name for about a year, But Keera has been making hair for three years on Second Life, and her experience sure shows. Each design is original, and has beautifully crafted textures and natural looking flex. Plus, it’s not overly alpha so it works great for photos and editing, which anyone who knows anything about photos will love that!

Keera has two locations for Keelee Designs at the moment, her main store is located on the AK Paradise sim, along with her other store, Twentieth Ahn. Her second location is located at DG Innovations.

I asked Keera why she decided to make hair, and she said something that really impressed me, that she treats each hair she makes as a work of art, and you can certainly tell. She spends numerous hours on each design and doesn’t release them until they are perfect. Each design comes in great colors and choices and are reasonably priced.

Keelee Designs doesn’t offer gift cards at the moment but Keera said you can feel free to contact her and she will be more then happy to send out whatever design you like as a gift to your friends or loved ones. She is working on a new option for gift cards, but as many of you have noticed SL glitches have slowed down the gift card business quite a bit.

At this time Keelee Designs caters to all of us hair addicts out there with fresh designs and new releases all the time! She is also working on a line of Men’s hair designs, which will be great because we all know how hard it is to find good hair for the guys in our SL’s.

So For sure everyone should check out Keelee Designs for great new hair designs, make sure you join her group too because not only will you get all the news on her releases and styles, but you’ll also get a group only discount… talk about treating your customers right! You don’t have to wait for  a weekly/monthly drawing and hope youre lucky here, but you’ll get that reward every time you buy something.. TWICE THE TREAT! Great hair and a customer loyalty discount of 10%.

Welcome To A Second Look @ SL Fashion

It's me... the self proclaimed fashion addict!

Hi.. a lot of you probably already know me, and some of you are just learning about me. I have been really fortunate in SL to meet so many great people including some of the very best Designers on SL. I also am totally addicted to shopping my favorites being new skin/hair and well.. everything! Everywhere I go I am always looking for great new stores, shops and designers that I can share with lots of people, I give out landmarks, and have a very active Flickr Site, so I figured this would be the next step for me in sharing my wealth of Second Life Fashion.

The great thing about Second Life is we all get to live our dreams each and every day.. and depending on your mood and style that can be different every single day!
